Kelly and her daughter are one of my favorite yearly photo sessions. I had a 30-minute slot open at Country Joy Flower Farm and was so happy that it fit into their schedule.  

As soon as we started to explore the areas to see where we wanted to start this little black cat found its way to us and quickly became apparent that this little kitten wanted to be friends. It was also apparent that this little fellow was going to become part of the photos. This kitten poured on the love and to be honest, we loved this little kitten, too. 

It was the most beautiful golden hour among the flowers and a perfect evening for photos. 

In case you're wondering, as much as heartstrings were pulled, none of us took this little kitten home. She (or he) lives happily among the flowers and loves to be in photos. The owner shared that the kitten has made it into many photos this summer.
