Joy is the word that comes to mind as I think of Elena's senior session. You can see it and feel it as you look at each photo. 

Elena discovered Meadow View Photography through a friend and I am so thankful to get to capture a part of Elena's story. Elena and her mom, Stacy, are so much fun and from the first MVP Senior consultation, I knew that this was going to be fantastic. 

When planning for Elena's senior session, she knew she wanted to capture dance photos and she wanted photos that shared her story over the years. Elena dances at Hershey School of Dance and has saved her point shoes since she was little. She wanted to incorporate them into the photos and was excited about sharing this part of her story.

The Hershey Theatre was chosen as the location for her dance photos since this is where she performs with the Hershey School of Dance. She has been dancing since she was little and we captured that in one of her photos, little Elena in her first performance and senior Elena in the same photo. Time doesn't stand still, so when we can capture a memory in print to be able to recall a point in time is one of the reasons why I love this work so much. Elena chose a stunning red dress that was perfect for Elena and the location. We had so much fun at the theatre and captured Elena's love of dance. She was in her element and it was apparent as her smile beamed! 

Elena loves to read and wanted to capture that in her photos. The Hershey Theatre provided the perfect backdrop, especially since it used to be the community center and housed the Hershey Library before the new library was built. Elena brought her favorite books and organized them in a way that had meaning to her. Love that! Years from now when she looks back at her photos, it will be more than her senior year but also tell a story that is special to her. Fun fact, she's read Harry Potter 4 times! 

We then headed to Royal Oaks Flower Farm to capture the most beautiful photos in fields of flowers. She loves bright colors, especially purples and blues. The flower farm provided a beautiful backdrop of arbors, a potting shed, benches, barns, rows of flowers, a field of sunflowers, and sheep! We had so much fun exploring the rows of flowers during that golden hour. Elena's wish was for photos that included bright colors and captured her happy smile, and what a beautiful smile she had! 

Elena's favorite quote: "Why fit in when you were born to stand out?" Dr. Seuss. 

Stacy and Elena- this was the best evening! The two of you beam joy and happiness and, I feel so lucky to capture this part of Elena's story. Wishing you a wonderful senior year. Excited to see the next part of your story unfold.
